Airtec Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) For MINI R55, R56, R57, R58 and R59 Cooper S and JCW

The Airtec front mount intercooler is a worth while addition to your Cooper S or JCW/GP. Whether your MINI is standard or modified, the enlarged Airtec intercooler core and increased surface area will help to cool the boosted air from the turbo considerably more than the standard part. These cooler charge temperatures mean that your MINI's engine will produce more power and torque throughout the rev range without the ECU pulling the power back once the inlet temperature gets too high.

This is especially important for remapped cars that are running higher turbo boost pressures, or MINI’s used on the track where intercoolers can suffer from heat soak where the intercooler itself begins to warm up. Using an Airtec Front Mount Intercooler should reduce this effect due to the larger core it will be more resistant to heat soak giving you more power for longer periods whilst on the track.

This Airtec Front Mount Intercooler will fit all turbocharged Gen 2 MINI models. No drilling is required.
