Introducing the Pipercross F56 Mini rear hard pipe assembly – the perfect companion to the AirMax lid and Plus filter for taking the Full AirMax kit’s performance to a whole new level or adding this to the original airbox system or other performance intake systems. This innovative part completely replaces the original composite turbocharger inlet pipe, unlocking dramatically improved airflow by doing away with the OE split-chamber sound suppression system.
Crafted from robust 76mm outer diameter aluminium tubing (up from the OE’s 70mm), the assembly provides a significant boost in airflow efficiency. Each tube is meticulously CNC-mandrel-bent to ensure a perfectly consistent inner diameter along its entire length.
Attention to detail doesn’t stop there. The design of the Pipercross pipe, vacuum connectors and turbocharger inlet connector was precisely mapped using a 3D scanner to ensure a perfect fit and seal. These components are then CNC machined from solid aluminium rounds to meet strict dimensional and finish standards, ensuring an OE-grade seal with every connection.
To top it all off, each pipe assembly is powder coated to exacting specifications, offering superior corrosion resistance and a sleek finish without compromising the fitment of essential original components. The result is a performance upgrade that marries cutting edge engineering with flawless integration.
But does it work? Yes it does. Testing with the Pipercross team we saw a reduction in air flow resistance on average by 70% against the original pipe, which amounted to a power gain of 6 BHP when tested with the standard airbox. Combining this with Pipercross Plus Panel filter and saw further gains. The horse power gains where evident on both tuned and standard vehicles.
