The Story

A brand new Big Brake Kit from AP Racing. This kit features a 2-piece disc and as usual a 4 piston caliper.

This AP Racing front big brake kit for the New MINI includes everything you need to convert your standard system. Discs measure 330x26mm and are grooved for better ventilation. 4-Pot calipers in black are included and will fit under a 17" aftermarket wheel. Pads, Goodridge Braided hoses, AP Racing brake fluid and caliper mounts are also included in this kit. Wheel spacers maybe needed for this kit at an additional cost depending on the wheel, for help on this you can contact us and we will be happy to help. Please call us for details if your car is built 01/2006 onwards. There are two main advantages of a 2 piece brake disc. Firstly, as the bells where the rotor attaches to are aluminum there is a substantial weight saving. Secondly, as the disc is a 2 piece item made up of the aluminum bells and brake rotors the assembly can expand and contract independent of each other.

Please note: This kit will not fit under standard 17" alloys without a wheel spacer.
