Powerflex Bushes are engineered to help your suspension components perform at their very best by significantly reducing flex and deformation compared to standard rubber bushes. When fitted to the rear anti roll bar, these high quality polyurethane bushes allow the bar to operate at maximum efficiency, minimising unwanted movement and ensuring a more consistent and responsive connection between the chassis and suspension.
Unlike traditional rubber bushes, which naturally degrade and soften over time due to heat, road contaminants, and age, Powerflex polyurethane bushes maintain their shape and performance for the long term. This durability not only enhances reliability but also makes them an excellent maintenance upgrade—helping to restore and retain sharp handling characteristics even after years of use.
By limiting deflection in the anti-roll bar mounts, these bushes deliver more precise handling, reduced body roll, and improved stability through corners. The result is a tighter, more predictable driving experience, particularly noticeable during spirited driving or on uneven road surfaces.
Available in three sizes – 16mm, 17mm, and 18mm to suit different factory anti roll bar diameters, these bushes are compatible with the following MINI models: R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61.
The correct size depends on your vehicle’s specific anti roll bar specification. If you are unsure which size you need, please contact Lohen with your chassis number for advice and confirmation or measure the diameter of your current rear anti-roll bar (ideally just where the bush sits) using calipers, to confirm whether it’s 16 mm, 17 mm or 18 mm
